the lights go to the fuse panel before the switch.

yeah, "then fuse, then through to the button"

but im not sure why i still get the "fog button on + low beams on = no fog, only low beams" problem. am i supposed to like bind the fog light wires to the head light wires?

looks like theres an issues with the harness connecting the power....

try this... fog switch on, headlights switch off, hold the switch for high beams

and see if the lights are on.

yeah, the fog lights are still on when i hold down the high beams. Also, my fog light switch is a seperate switch. if i accidently leave it on and leave my car, my lights will be on and waste my battery. but this is normal, right?

the relay/harness gives power to the lights is dyslexic

usually its
lights off - fogs off.
lights on - fogs on.
highs on - fogs off.

but you have the opposite, so either the relay messed up, or the wiring to that relay is wrong.

probably the wiring? can you explain where to wire it? i really dont get the instructions on handa-accessories.com. lets see, from what i can literally see, theres two wires coming from the fog lights. they bing together and make one big one. then, it goes to another split. now, theres 3 wires. 1 goes to the fuse box located way above the intake. one that connects to something i think might be the relay (but im thinking its ground?), one that connects to the battery, and the last one wires up into the interior to the off/on button.
