The 03 Engine with tranny since its new and has no miles on it will probably run you over 15 Grand.

Yeah the only reason i say that is because from what i remember the guy doing the CL-S swap was paying over 10 grand, and since this engine/tranny has not even come out yet it going to cost a grip.

You don't really need the J32A2 engine. The standard Accord J30 should mate up to the 6 speed just fine.

A tranny new shoud not run much over $2000-3000.00
I would assume $4000.00 for it at most. Find a dealer willing to sell you parts for cost aswell many won't do it, but if you make friends with the kid running the parts counter it is possiable. It's just a tranny.

Paying the extra money for the type-S engine new is likely just too much for the swap at this time.

ok.. forget about gettin a new engine for the accord... is it possible to swith the auto tranny to a manual tranny for the '98 J30A1 engine? im not really sure bout tranny swaps.... if anyone knows.. can u also gimme an approx. cost of the transmission + labour installation.. thx
