i got a 87 accord how do i install tha alternator

I have a '93 Accord. Changing the alternator was a simple as removing the belt, removing the mount bolt and adjusting bolts and unplugging the alternator. Installation is reverse of normal with the exception of adjusting the belt tension. I believe it was about 1/4 inch play or so on the belt. You'll probably just want to replace the belt while your at it unless your current belt is relatively new. Most cars are pretty much the same. Get a hayes or chilton's manual if you want detailed instructions.
