Default alternators

so mine is going out. Still works, but on the fall....

where is a place to get them online? I was thinking about the higher-output alternators, but if I remember, they're a bit pricey.

anyone know where to source 'em?

well, when you need extra umph, oe honda just isnt enough. if i had to replace mine, id sure as hell buy a higher output. i mean i think my system will probably kill mine soon anyway. :dunno:

lol, you guys still have systems! sell all the bumps and get a turbo!
JFWY.

I guess I'm the only lucky person here. Every car I've owned has either had a brand new alternator right before I bought it, or I did a swap defore mine died... In other cases, sold the car before they ever went bad... Sorry, I'm no help.

If I'm not mistaken, yours is a 150A alternator already. Be glad you don't have a DSM because they come with either a 65A or a 75A depending on whether or not you have an automatic or a Canadian car. Those cars are powered-everything, and many people are running some big systems on them.

What you need is to save your money, buy an OE alternator, and get a 1 Farad Capacitor for your system. That way the bass doesn't drain your battery and it doesn't put a load on your alternator. Your OE alternator would work fine with a cap.
