Default My 97 Accord has problems starting... =oT

ok....this problem has been getting worse and worse. When I turn the key, my car will not start. I won't even here the starter turn the engine over. I'd try several times and nothing. My battery is fully charged and my starter is still good. Then I'd try one last time and the damn thing starts. WTF??? I'm usually very good at trobleshooting problems on my car but this one has me puzzled. I'm thinking it has something to do with the ignition recall. However, the recall only states that it may cause an engine to stall, even while driving and says nothing about problems starting a car. Can anyone help me out? Has anyone ever had this problem?

you might be a victim of the ignition recall that's out. but you have a swap so i'm not sure if you're affected. my sister's accord had the recall and it mentioned difficulty starting and ultimately engine stalling.

Is anyone reading what he posted? People are talking about his fuel relays and what not...........he said the starter wont even turn over......that has nothing to do with his fuel.

Do you have a 5 speed or automatic?
