I've been using Walmart's brand for the past two years... Single/multi pass @ 99% is their claim... it uses synthetic filter material is another. Haven't ran into any problems and saves $$$. Like fstop128 stated, so many merging of companies and one making their product for another... who's to say what's better or isn't? It comes down to name brand and who you favor more or less.

many people like FRAM. I like FRAM because they have this nice grip on the bottom. Me..... I take very good care of my car... always want to use high quality. I use Mobile 1 (3qt) and 1 qt for locus super synthetic with mobile1 oil filters....
by the way mobile1 oil filters are quite expensive... $11. when other brands are $5-
I use mobile1 or Toyota Genuine filters.
I check my oil once a week... change them whenever I think they're getting dirty.... I know a lot of ppl think it's waste of money for doing oil changes about 2500miles... but hey, cleaner... the better gas mileages.

 :lmao:  Dude buy some damn regular ass oil...go to walmart and buy the oil that's $1.20 a quart. The lubricating qualities of it will be the exact same as $6/quart Mobil1 up to 2500 miles. Overmaintaining a car =/ maintaining your car perfectly.
