Default Front end shimmy etc.

I have a 95 Accord with 230000 miles. When I apply the brakes over 45 mph I notice a shimmy in the steering wheel. When I break at high speeds it shimmys more severly then it abates; and as the car slows I feel a pulsing in the front end until I come to a stop. The pulsing feels like a warped rotor (s) but I am not sure. Any help would be apperciated.

The break pads look good however I have not had the calipers apart for inspection. The front axles have less than 50,000 on them.

if it only happens when breaking, and it shimmies more at higher speeds when breaking heavily.... then your rotors are warped.

definitely warped rotors, just buy some new ones it costs just as much to get them turned. I had the same problem and it is annoying as hell.
