Default HID Conversion Kit

Does anyone know how I could go about securing a ballast in my 01 Accord? I heard I could put it inside the fender but then I would need to drill new holes to secure? Anyone know how I could secure it without drilling new holes?

on my 02 accord where I mounted the ballasts are:

For the left side headlight I mounted it against the frame right under i think its the power steering resoviour right on the frame. Lets just say its not removable. The way my brother screwed them in is ridiculous. I have to sell the car with the ballasts if anything.

On the right side I removed the radiator fluid resoviour and mounted it right underneath it against the frame. Again, its a bitch to take out. My brother bent the screws so I cant take them out.
I also placed that square shaped pad under. between the ballast and the frame.
Ill take some pictures tonight to show you.

I had plenty of room and ventilation behind my OE bumper just under the grill.

I cleaned the painted metal and then swabbed it down with alcohol. then used double sided foan tape. These puppies aren't going anywhere let me tell ya.

for me on both side, i used Shit load of zipties and added small black speaker wires to wrap around it and tie it to a near frame hole that goes around it. thats how scare i am. make sure u tie all your wires near moving componets. i just think what the worst of things that could happen...to be safe.
If I get into a wreck the ballast is the least of my worries, those things won't move at all--trust me.

we have if we removed the bumper, getting the cover back on without that tape is such a p-i-t-a.

I'm sure it's no worse then any other place under the hood. I don't care if they get wet. And I rarely drive in the rain with my car now. Car washes are the extent of my watering under the hood.
