I dont even come to honda-acura.net anymore because of posts, and responses to posts like this. I mean, for the most part everyone is right about this guy being a total dumbass for wanting to have the loudest accord, he is a dumbass he cant even spell "acceleration". And yes, it makes no sense to be loud in a 17.1 sec car. But the thing i hate the most isnt even him, its the people that reply to his posts with untrue information. Its one thing to make fun of him, but dont make shit up to make yourself sound 'smarter' or more in the know with faulty information.... And no, its not illegal to have an aftermarket exhaust in california it just have to be within the limits of the sound ordinance.

I forgot how much of a genius you were :slap:Excessive noise is primarily a nuisance issue rather than a safety concern, and determination of excessive noise is subjective. For this reason, enforcement personnel are to exercise sound professional judgment in making a determination of violation. The following guidelines and attached question and answer sheet (Attachment A) provide guidance to enforcement personnel regarding appropriate enforcement procedures.
Enforcement Guidelines
The only drivers who should be cited are those whose vehicles:
1. Are not equipped with a muffler;
2. Clearly emit an offensive, harsh, excessive noise, or;
3. Have a clearly defective exhaust system (holes, leaks, etc.).
Thus, a CHP officer can pull you over for anything he deems 'offensive' or 'excessive' or 'harsh'. It's 100% subjective.
