Really? I've always used seafoam and i though it helped (179k and the egr was pretty damn clean on the 93) but now i know to keep an eye out on my dads v6, thanks!
Yup, true story. The ports, unfortunetly, have to be manually cleaned out on V6 engines because none of the intake 'vaccum' air goes through it, just exhaust air that has a shitload of carbon in it.
how do you check the EGR port cleanliness?
also, i recall reading in my prelude manual that if the brakes die, downshift using the shifter in the auto version of the car, whether its for extreme/life saving situations or not, they werent very clear.
