Not quite sure about a humming sound...Are you sure it's your intake?

 

Well I have it on my V6, and I can't hear it even with the hood open.

 

i have a v6 01 sedan and i get the whistleing noise as soon as i turn the engine on. its not from the intake since i heard it even before i installed my cai. i even brought it to the honda service dept and they said that all of them sound like that. can anyone confirm this also? i want to make sure the service guy wasnt blowing me off.

 

i'm pretty sure it is, never made that sound before the installation. i can hear it from inside my house :eh: . i heard some people have that prob. with just the 6th gens.

 

Yeah, it's a real low, deep hum, right? I have that too.

 

ok, thanks...make me feel a little better , doesn't it ever annoy the **** outta you? i guess it takes some gettin used to, but i get embarrassed when people ask me what that noise is
