Hmm just installed my new AEM CAI.. didnt install the by pass valve.. didnt wanna cut my new pipe Anyway when i took it for a test.. it squeeks or a high pitch hum when i step on the gas.. i can probley keep the noise constant if i keep it at 2500 rpm.. maybe i didnt tighten my filter tight enough? Its too dark right now so I'll check it in the morning.. I hope no peanuts were left in there =T forgot to check.. People thought i was nuts revving my engine on the streets.. haha probley thinking.. look at that rice boy :fawk: !

btw .. the worst thing about installing intake are the damn HOSES! took me forever to work with.. omfg I wanted to ripp them all out

 

maybe thats what its suppose to do... but when im in other peopels cars i dont pay attention.. *shrugs*

 

In my friends Si, it whistles when he gets on the gas. Is that what you are hearing, because its normal i guess

 

wissles.. hmm anouther good descriptive word.. my friends accord doesnt do it.. i just listened to his car.. its a really high pitch noise.. kinda bugs me

 

yeah my firends whistles, but mine dosent. But i did read that whistle'in is normal

 

My AEM whistle's at 3K plus. Annoyed me at first, but I forgot about it a week later

 

mine whistles, its just ur intake sucking air, no big deal ur fine

I installed an AEM CAI. Whistles from about 2200 to 3200 rpm's, then really roars from 4000 up.
