Accord EX Vs. Acura TSX
The TSX feels dramatically more nimble then the Accord, and no you simply can't make the Accord feel like a TSX in the corners with bolt-on gear. Not unless you plan to swap out the steering box as well, the TSX is a very nice piece.
My '00 weighs a lot less then the '03-'06 Accord V6, and even with all my aftermarket mods the steering feel of the wife's TSX is spot on better. It's a huge pleasure to drive.
We test drove the 7th gen Accord and the TSX back to back brand new in late '04 the TSX was smaller chassis and it's size had great appeal.
Add in the fact that the Acura had a better warranty package then Honda and it was the clear winner for about the same price as an Accord V6.
As for fit and finish, you really can't tell the Accord apart from the TSX. I guess if I really wanted the V6 and a manual I'd likely save a bundle and hunt down an '03 CL-S 6-speed w/ ATTS. Else I'd be more tempted by the Mazda 6-wagon for something with 4-doors, a V6 and a stick, and a huge ability to haul goods.

I have a TSX. Thinking about trading it in for the new ACCORD V6 sedan with a preorder 6 speed transmission. WHY because more spacious and alot faster. I GOT BEAT BY A SCION TC in my tsx.. A FREAKING SCION TC.. that made me sad.

The BMW 3-series, the car the TSX is some-what benchmarking, has never been about pure speed and power (M's excluded) but the entire communication between the driver and the road. It's a characteristic less evident in the Accord IMO, but if you want power.
The TSX will likely recieve a bump in HP when it's revised in a few years soon, perhaps it will be the second car to have the turbo-K from the RDX? Until then I guess we could all make friends with our Fasts and get GLI/GTI VW's.

The plant that manufactures the turbo has a capacity of 40k/year for them and that's what the RDX is expected to sell. Perhaps when RDX sales dwindle they'll put it in something else, or maybe they'll decide to add another production line if it sells over expectations.

The heated seats in the winter and the 8-speaker stereo don't make for a bad drive either so all in all I find the car a rather satifing drive.

PS
Why are we comparing A 4cyl to a V6?
If anything, compare the 4cyl Accord with the TSX or the V6 Accord with the TL

...because they're similiar in features and price. The tC is already out with the SC but it costs like $27 grand and it still looks and feels like an economy car on the inside. No thanks.
I'm not sure why anyone would stop light drag race a TSX?
My buddy got blown away by a Saturn SC2 coupe when he was coming home from the dealer in his TSX 6spd, he simply got out driven.
The Scion tC isn't too bad for what it is, a Camry 4cyl in a lightweight econo car. Nothing too fancy but a great starter package for a first new car, the things would likely run forever if taken care of.
Again I could see why someone would cross shop an Accord v6 and a TSX, but simple numbers on the road tend to make the TSX a more appealling choice for me. But the sub $30k price range has a lot of choices, you need to shop them all to get the right car for your needs. If you start to include quality 1-2yr old used cars into the mix the choices are almost too huge.
The fact that Accord's, Camry's, and Passats can break athe 30k barrier when loaded up blows my mind even more.
