The Acura carries the luxury name, but what good is luxury when your 30K machine can't match the HP of a 20K Civic?

The Av6 is the better bang for the buck.
But it has DOHC

I really don't understand why the number of camshafts matters. The LS7 seems to do just fine with one for the entire engine.

I personally would enjoy the TSX because of it's DOHC, but some people really don't care about things like that. Also, look at the long run of things, are you planning on doing mods? The TSX is not as accessible in modications because their aftermarket parts cost an arm and a leg, where as the V6 is much much more common.
the aftermarket for the TSX has way more support than the Accord. you can swap in rsx type-s parts, as well as other aftermarket goodies. the hondata reflash is pretty affordable considering how much performance you get for the price.

it all comes down to personal preference, so test drive both. you won't make a wrong decision becasue they are both good cars, they just excel in different areas of performance.

Default One more question, I promise :)

Thanks for all the input. I have to side with the Accord EX V6 due to torque (and HP). But there is a new contended in this price range and I truely know little about, except whats on paper/net. I'm not trying to "stir-up the bee hive", but what do you guys know about the 05 Altima SE-R? I have driven the 05 EX V6 coupe and loved it, much better then my 98 EX coupe.

for the price you'd pay for an SE-R Altima, why not get an STI, EVO, Z, G35, 3 series. the SE-R is about $33K, you could get way better cars for the same money IMO.
