You have to give up something with just about every single performance modification. Power may lower reliability, weight reduction and suspension work ditto and will lower driver comfort. In retrospect, if it’s a daily driver I would opt for a supercharger—there is no substitution for forced induction. On a budget, bolt-ons are basic upgrades but they honestly do not do a lot without heavy tuning. Most USDM Accord engines are designed for economy (7th gen V6 6-speeds aside). Honda could have made the J30A on the 6th gens a lot better with a few improvements but they opted to be economically viable and honestly, 200hp was enough back then and still is for 99% of the buyers who just commute. So everything jschmid said is bang on—work with the suspension and you’ll notice more improvements

Default Every1 has their imput

Lots of people, , well there is easy to run and say forced induction, engine technoligy all the way. For the price of any FI Kit may it be a turbo or supercharger, yu could have totally triked out yur suspension and gotten a nice set of wheels and tires to compliment it wiff sum change. Look at the Type r's and SiR-T's even the SiR's and Trueno,s and BZ-R's Altezza's RS200 & BZ200 and all the others, pure N-A engine performance and suspension dynamics. There are no blowers on these cars. My 96 Honda Integra Type R is nearlly 600 pounds lighter than the USDM model i think im pretty on fact with that, whys that tho?.Go bwiff suspension and yu'll be rewarded.

curb weight for most US integras is 2600 lb
you said your car weighs 600lb less
2600-600 = 2000 pounds
1109.8kg = 2450lb, which is 150lb less not 600 like you said

looks like you are the one who needs math lessons. h:

Default I doubt it

I doubt that a US 96 acura integra type r is onlee about 2600 pounds, please check yur facts. They are in access of almost 2,900 lbs if not a little over(99-01 models USDM) That cannot be since the USDM acura integra type r had far more amenities that were on the JDM Honda Integra Type R . the front air conditioner condensor for a fact, most 95-96 JDM models were NOT offered with a/c but as an option and most others wiff a/c had a civic style half diamitor ac condensor, lots less weight,such as these items USDM have that we dont , because its a driver's car , the seats are diff, loss lets weight, we have NO center console or arm rest , less weight , the exhauts( no resonator or silencor) , the rear trailing links , front radius arms yu have steel all JDM 95-98 and lower control aluminum composites , a lighter and diff rack and pinion system, the type R front JDM bumper and hood and lighting components are also lighter .
