You have to give up something with just about every single performance modification. Power may lower reliability, weight reduction and suspension work ditto and will lower driver comfort. In retrospect, if it’s a daily driver I would opt for a supercharger—there is no substitution for forced induction. On a budget, bolt-ons are basic upgrades but they honestly do not do a lot without heavy tuning. Most USDM Accord engines are designed for economy (7th gen V6 6-speeds aside). Honda could have made the J30A on the 6th gens a lot better with a few improvements but they opted to be economically viable and honestly, 200hp was enough back then and still is for 99% of the buyers who just commute. So everything jschmid said is bang on—work with the suspension and you’ll notice more improvements
