just checked it on mine and yes its true
Press the CD/AUX button for 10 sec and the display will black out with a beep.
Just learned something new today.

The is a SB on it. take it to the dealer. The prob is the audio unit is bad, and if ur in the 3 yr/36k u will get it done for free.

Looks like the unit is faulty. But because it's not available, they'll have to order it from their wharehouse. Another 4 business days. Oh well, at least it's covered.
