Question 1 Is that the "Hum" you get as the RPM go up and down (alternator whine) I have that and yes i do have my wires together.....

Question 2, if a 6x9 is rated 45-20000Hz should i set the amp high pass to exactly 45Hz or something higher?

q1, it is alternator whine
q2 do whatever sounds better
