When I got my Hanabi HID kit it was a simple plug and play.
I've had it for the past 2 years and only had to replace a balast one time.
I think a direct fit would be best. The less modification the better
But that's me.

Here's a pic of mine
I re-aimed them so the glare wouldn't annoy oncoming traffic
And I added a set of eye lids

Wow those are awsome, Thanks guys for sharing that. I think I will try to put the HID on stock housing to see how much glare they make. If not than I might sell it and do the retro.
Anybody wants to buy the Maxima's HID kit?????? lol

usally re-aiming a bit lower will cut down on enough glare that it doesn't blind others. I had a kit in my 5th gen the glare was pretty bad until I re-aimed them then I just didn't like the uneven light patern but never got flashed by others but ended doing the retrofit just because I has access to 2 sets of S2K projectors so I went that route , just try the kit first if you don't like it then do the retrofit latter.

I'll see what I can find. Inventroy changes every few days. I haven't even had a chance to go myself.
