well it turns out it was the distrubuter housing, it was frozen $300 for the parts and $60 to put it in... not too bad.. i would have loved to do it my self.. but if i ****ed up my timing i would have been forced to park my car on the train tracks.. ahh insurance.. however thank you soo much for the help!

 

...dammit! I could have been right! Reading through this, I was just going to say it sounded like it *could be* the distrubuter housing, and then you diagnosed it.

At least you're backup and running.
