Default weird high pitched sound

Hello again!
i have a 92 accord, ex, 2 door, 5 speed with about 90k miles on it, as if that wasent interesting enough...
im having a little problem, when the engine is running, there is this high pitched squealing sound coming from the RIGHT side of the engine, kinda like a metal on metal thing. the sound is there when im moving, and sitting still, and putting the clutch in and taking it out has no effect on the sound..
any ideas?? please & thank you!!!
by the way.. I LOVE YOU GUYS

its more of a metal on metal thing, and its coming from the wrong side to be a belt (sad to say) as far as pulsating.. it just kinda goes with the engine...

i dont know if knock is the right word, is sounds like something is rubbing.. im bad at describing the noise, but sounds like its coming from the upper parts, infact.. im going to go listen to it now... and check my oil!
