I think the much easier solution is to acquire a 98-00 front bumper and purchase the correct lip kit accordingly.

I'm sure there must be few in junk yards by now.

 

Easier perhaps, but far more expensive for many of us, considering what it costs to prep and repaint a bumper (unless one can do both without taking it to a bodyshop). Unfortunately most used bumpers are just that - used and often abused, and damnit - usually the wrong color! Also, it's a matter of which style front end one likes better ('98-'00 or '01-'02) Some of us have frugal wives to contend with, also! lol

btw - I may have found a source for a relativelly inexpensive Mugen-style front lip for '01-'02 coupes - unfortunately, I'm a bit concerned about how well it will fit until I see one already installed. If I take the plunge and purchase one, or know someone who beat me to it, I'll post some pics and feedback on this forum.

Evolution, what kind of lip is that? That doesn't look like a type r or mugen lip.
