if you are in california then forget ebay cheap brand, they don't have a carb#, which means you won't pass your smog visual test. performance wise, it should be pretty good. let me know how it sounds like though if you do get it and put it on later.

Most aftermarket stuff on Ebay says JDM some is real and some is JDM stlye. I bought my intake on Ebay for about $50, but I was not looking to gain horsepower or anything, I just wanted it because it looks good when you open your hood.

US $24.00 - Standard Flat Rate Shipping Service (within United States )

there you go. It doesn't cost more than $9 (USPS) to ship a tube and a filter. These are extremely cheap beacuse there's no engineering behind them. Sometimes they fit, sometimes they don't ... there's no mounting brackets so the tube hangs right off the throtle body ...

Yes, you get what you pay for. JDM stands for Japanese Domestic Market. It should mean that the product was designed and marketed for the Japanese market. JDM headunits (typical double din) have a different band for FM, not US, Japan compliant. Other things say JDM but who knows. I asked one vendor and they said it increases sales to put JDM on their items. Intake? AEM, INJEN, COMPTEC, anything that is CARB is good.

"JDM" is currently the same as "Extreme" was in the mid-late 90's, all marketing. There is some shit out there that is true JDM....but most of it is generic badged "JDM" for sales. Save your money and buy a quality intake like neonknight listed.
