my ebay intake sounds too loud and horrible when i floor the pedal, i wonder if the aem intake sound the same. is like is sucking so much air and the intake cant handle it, that i wanna go back to stock because i feel like i have more power with the stock intake.
The pipe doesn't make the noise it is the sound of the air filter sucking in the air, thats why I said put a K&N on it, it is far better then the crap it already has on
ebaymotors is one of the best sites you can use to purchase any car parts. only thing is that most people do advertise "JDM" parts but its really "JDM style" parts. BEWARE. DONT BE FOOLED. i only purchase known brands on ebay. i bought some good Tein brand springs there for cheap. I am about to purchase some DC sport headers from there soon. Ebay is good, just dont buy no name brands. i also want to get a hi flow cat and i looked at ebay and theres 3 different ones for my car but they are all no name brand. so i sure aint gonna buy those. look for good known brands when purchasing off ebay, if it looks good but the brand sucks or is unknown, dont buy it cuz in the long run it might not be a quality part
here's a recommendation, stay away from ebay intakes. get an AEM. they make the most power. don't cheap out on car parts. do it right the first time so you only have to do it once

Not to sound mean but you don't know what you are talking about. A ebay intake with a K&N Air Filter is just as good as a AEM or Injen Intake, the only advantages of those are you get a C.A.R.B. Number. It is not the pipe the gives you power it is the filter

oh ye of little intelligence... what gives you power is the cold air being sucked into the engine. also, a well engineered tube will channel air more efficiently with less turbulence, therefore cramming more air into the engine faster, and smoother equalling more power. it's all about air flow. the filter's less restrictive of course, but if all the air gets tangled up inside a restrictive poorly designed pipe, then you haven't done anything. the size and bend angles to the pipe are very important in determining the flow characteristics of the air once it's in the tube. same thing with exhaust systems, or any other piping for any other application. there's a little thing called r&d that goes into intakes made by companies that don't build them out of toilet paper rolls, and stockings. you get what you pay for. if you want a cheap intake just because it looks good, or makes noise then buy one. if you want power, get a proven system.
