Moonroof to sunroof?
i woudn't do it
basically moonroof and sunroof are teh same thing...they leave a hole in your roof
with a moonroof, the glass slides back into the roof of the car and is unnoticable from a distance
with a sunroof, the glass slides back, but stays on the outside of the car (above the roof), you can easily spot these cars from a distance

Ok, on the diference between the two. A sun roof is solid, non see through. They assume you will only open it for the veiw when its hot and sunny. A moonroof is glass, so you can slide back the cover and view the moon with out needing to open it up. That way you can stay warm in the winter and have the sunroof feel. lol. But seriously now. Dictionary style...
sun·roof ( P ) Pronunciation Key
n.
A roof on a motor vehicle, such as an automobile, having a panel that can be slid back or raised.
Main Entry: moonroof
Part of Speech: noun
Definition: a permanent window on the roof of a vehicle
So if it is glass its a moonroof, sheet metal and fabric its a sun roof. Regardless of where they store that is what they are. And someone said it earlier, if it goes above the roof it just means they didn't have enough room inside the roof to store it.

Sunroofs were made in mid-60's and moonroofs were made a lot later..
