Default HID Conversion, Legal?

Is it Legal to do HID conversion. Is there like a limit or something that you can do. Anybody ever had a cop problem because of HID.
Thanks alot

Yes, it's legal as long as you have them aimed correctly.

How do you aim them?, for example I know how to intall the HID ballast and stuff but for the aiming of the bulb If I just remove the stock bulbs and put HID kit without taking off the Headlight assembly and install the new lamps will it be OK?. just like changing the Headlight bulbs to another one.

Just to be sure, "Its Legal no matter what temprature or color you put"

There are like so many of them on Ebay form $50 to $350, any recomendations on which one shoud I buy. I have a 7th Gen Accord Coupe.

It's legal as long as you still have usage of your high beams.

For example, if your car has one bulb for both the low & high beams, it would be illegal cause the HID bulb only has one filament.
If you have two separate bulbs (one for low and one for high) then it'll be ok.

depending on what gen accord you have, you can aim the bulbs by finding the bolt on the back of the headlamp assembly. its a bit awkward to get to in 7th gens, but it can be done. turning it clockwise with a ratchet will raise the cutoff line and vice versa. you'll need to have a pretty flexible arm to get it behind it though.

to actually aim them, you should park your car about 10ft from a wall (preferably at night), turn on your lights and check to see if the center of beam of light matches up on both headlamps.

bleh, dont know if that came out clear. maybe im just really tired, but good luck anyway. :P
