if you're gonna spend more money to put a supercharger and all that other stuff on a TSX, just get the Evo cuz you obviously want the speed and the Evo has the speed all in one purchase.

A EVO needs to be compared more to a Ford Mustang, Mazda RX8 or Nissan 350Z.

no matter which car i get the suspension will be significantly stiffer. suspension will be the first to go. i keep my accord's coilovers and shocks set on the race settings everyday...i'm used to driving stiff suspensions, the stiffer the better. a stiff suspension feels way better to me than stock soft suspensions. stock cars ride like trucks, they jsut bounce and bobble all over the place to absorb the bumps, i'd rather the car hit the bump and straighten out immediatley and keep rolling...and the extra refinement in the TSX to me is just that, EXTRA...bunch of stuff i dont need. i dont like leather, dont need heated seats, road noise isn't a big deal to me as long as it's not excessive, but when u mod any car it's gonna get louder anyway...bot cars are solid and stiff so i like that...i really love my 6th gen accord tho because it's an autox beast, and it's solid and quality built that's the main reason i want the tsx...but the EVO's brute force and AWD is so tempting...i dunno

exactly.. you dont need the fancy interior.. all you need is the racing scene which is why you should go with the evo. I understand how you feel about Honda and how they're reliable and something that you can always change without any problem. I say its better off to go with the Evo, you even said it yourself that your into the racing scene so you are better off with the evo.

Just keep your 6th gen and put the money into it and make it better than both of those cars and still have cash in your pocket. You already said your Accord does damage in auto crossing so why not build the engine up (turbo) or do an H22 swap and turbo it and have one of the baddest Accords around.

c'mon now main...no matter what i do, my poor accord will never be better than those two cars. and as for turbo and H22, turbo wouldn't help as much as a supercharger would in autoX because of the lag...i need low end power, which is why i wouldn't want an H22. i like my F23A1. i honestly don't see why the 6th gen accord wasn't built up more...and i wish people would realize that the accord's are not a slow...main reason people call accords slow is because they buy the automatic 4door I4, load it down with big ass speakers, amps, 25lb 18" wheels, then wonder why it doesn't move...then they take it out and try to use it for the wrong type of racing. the accord is not a drag car (although it could be), but it's a great autocross/road race car when setup right...i really wish i had overcome my hatred for leather and got the V6 now tho...i'd be dangerous...but the accord's not done. i'm gonna continue to build it. it's getting bigger sway bars, urethane bushings/motor mounts, lower tie bar, bigger throttle body, intake manifold, cam if i can find a good one, cam gear, possibly internal work, pulleys, Buddy club2 body kit, arctic blue pearl paint job, recaro speed seats with takata harnesses, black interior, and whatever else i can think up along the way...but i still want a new car....and the EVO or a TSX + supercharger are the two i've narrowed it down to...

yeah i heard about that too, but i want a new car now lol im not in a HUGE rush tho, im not buying anything until the 06 models come out, i just want to have mind made up long before so i know how much i need to save up for a down payment. if i get the TSX i wanna put 10 down, the EVO 15. i may go ahead and buy the TSX, have it paid for by then, then buy the EVO X when it comes out lol or just buy an EVO IX MR and trade it in when the EVO X comes out...i dunno what im gonna do yet...i am going to drive both cars tomorrow tho, maybe that'll help... thanks for all the input so far guys

If it was me thats what I'll do because I would rather put money into something that I already have and build from there but if I had a choice from the two it would be the TSX for refinement and value. Keep us posted on your test drive though.

RX8 shouldn't be compared with anything...that car is just plain slow...the cars u just named are competition for the S2K. the only car that compares evenly with the EVO is, you should know this, the STi. and the EVO MR spanks it.

well i went for my test drives today. i got to houston late yesterday so i didn't have much time to do anything. i did have enough time to make it to the first mitsu dealership...wish i had stayed home. i get there, and after i've driven 2 hours to houston and another 2 hours thru traffic to get to the dealership, THEN they tell me about the "no test driving EVO" policy. talk about i was PISSED. so i asked the guy, u expect me to drop 36k on a car i've never driven? you're crazy. they he was like people do it all the time, i was like yeah, stupid people maybe. there's no way in hell every EVO sold wasn't driven till AFTER they signed their life away for it. he insisted that it was. talkin about he sold like 12 EVO's in the last month like that (after he'd already told me the 2 EVO's he had were the only 2 they've had for the past 2 months....) i didn't think about it till after i left, but i wanted to tell him...IF you sold 12 EVO's in one month, i know u made some money because y'all sell'em at full list...so why haven't u used some of that money to get your teeth fixed? dude's grill looked like somebody dropped a grenade in a field of baked beans and stuck what was left over in his mouth...anyway, i left there and called the acura dealership that had the TSX 6speed...well the guy i had talked to was gone, so another guy took the call. and he's like, i dont know why he told u we had a 6 speed TSX, we haven't had one of those in like 3 months. and im like, son of a BITCH. so i basically drove out there for nothing. so i spent the night at my boy mike's crib out there and i planned to salvage the trip by making all my rounds at the other dealerships today...i called around to other mitsu places only to find that the no driving rule was in effect for all evo's, and still nobody had any 6speed TSX's, and i have alot of shit to do at home, and work at 6am tomorrow, and i was just disgusted with all the bullshit, so i just got on the highway and came home. i fuckin hate houston. im buying from baton rouge or new orleans, f_ck texas. it's been a bad two days. i got NOTHING accomplished except i stopped at a honda place out there to have my oil changed... and i still have no idea which car im gonna get now...and i wasted my two days off...i see now why God didn't make humans with super powers...because i would have abused the hell out of'em today. i woulda killed Mr. Beans and leveled that dealership just because i could...i hope he gets hit by and EVO...anyway, im out
