Default Mirror fix

Long story short.......passenger mirror, garage door.....not an even contest..the shell is ok, the glass is ok, but the "guts" of the mirror is now floppable.......any insight on how to take this all apart and fix/replace the broken pieces without taking it to the stealership would be greatly welcomed....oh yeah, 2002 Accord EX sedan...........

I had a "floppy" mirror when i bought my Accord. The dealer just had to pop it back into the mechanism and all was fine.

If yours is more than the glass being popped into the mechanism, you will need to remove the entire mirror assembly to inspect it more carefully for damage.

Sorry i can't tell you how to do this - maybe a search will help?
