Agreed. from a stopped launch, the manual i4 should take off a bit faster due to sheer weight. The V6 is carrying the heavier engine with an automatic transmission. Get to about 40mph and the V6 will pull ahead.

Exactly. I ran my friends 02 Accord V6 just last week and he wasn't even with me till about 45-50. I was in second and we were about even. But when I went to 3rd he just, pulled. I'm not suprised though, the 4 cyl 3rd and 5th gears really suck. What really helped me when I was in 2nd was that my rev limit was higher than his.
