Default This Problem has me Buggin

What up people. Its been a hot minute since i been on this site.
Well here's my question you guys always have good advice.
For some reason my ride (1994 Accord Lx) doesn't seem to start some mornings, doesn't even crank have to open doors manual alarm no help ???
I end up needing a boost, this doesn't accure everyday just some days.
I checked my optimum red top battery(a year old), but it has full charge.
I also checked the alternator (also a year old) and that is running good i even tested alternator with lights, ac, wipers, defroster on, and even the doors open.
I even bought new rockford negative and positive battary terminals thinking it was that.
But still same problem.
Has anyone experienced this?
I haven't had the chance to take it to the shop, but someone told me it might be a loose wire causing a short?
They did break into my car couple of months back taking all my music leaving my wires all over the place.
But I cut the power to the music, but i'm still getting same problem.

I would doubt it being the starter.

A dead short would blow fuses. You're looking for something that drains your battery.

You should be looking for some shorted wires that cross each other, in a way that turns something on. Like maybe an amplifier. Or interior lights.

you said something about an alarm or something. maybe it has the car on ignition kill and so it wont even crank. if its an old alarm or a cheap one, they sometimes stay on ignition kill even after u disarm, but they disengage after a little bit of trying of the ignition.

Thanks for the replies. Your guys are always a great help.
As far as it being the starter thats negative,
because as soon as i boost it it kicks on quick.
JimBlake I think you got it.
So how do I go about checking this.
Uninstalling all music wires?
As far as the interior light goes, now that you mentioned it my
sunvisior mirror light doesn't work anymore even with new bulb.
Could that be it?

I just noticed where you said the battery has a full charge. Do you mean even when the car's dead the battery has a full charge? If so, how did you measure it?

You can check for something draining the battery by putting an ammeter in series with the battery & measuring the drain. Pull fuses until it goes away to narrow down what circuit it's on. Eventually you might have to go chasing wires to find it.

I'm still curious to know how a jump starts a car that doesnt have a bad alternator, or battery.

If he simply measured open-circuit voltage then he didn't really measure the state of charge of his battery.

If the battery cables are loose or corroded, then the jumper cables might bypass that problem.

If the starter is going bad, then maybe it's dumb luck or maybe hooking up the cables disturbs it enough to run again.

I measured the ohms after i had it boosted at the autozone as well as testing the alternator.
They hooked up the battary to this little module, which reads its ohms or something, it also reads wheather or not the alternator is functioning.
Your right if theirs no charge in the battary then the car doesn't start,
i miss-worded that.
I actually thought it was the battery or the alternator at 1st, but after getting it tested i thought otherwise, Leaving out of answers.
I changed the battary terminals because they were corrodid, they didn't even tighten anymore, sometimes even popped off on hard potholes.

So are you suggesting to replacing the old ground and positive cables with new cables?

JimBlake
you said
putting an ammeter in series with the battery & measuring the drain
How can i do this?
