Speaker Pods
I'm wondering if anyone knows a site to order the speaker pods for the rear of the 5th gen 4 door. I put in 6x9s and had to hack up the flimsy metal sheet. I had seen a site that sold the pods, but they didn't have my application. I was also thinking that if I can't find them, then I can try to just make some out of fiberglass myself, but if they are pretty cheap I'd rather just buy them and get it done with. This was a couple of months ago, and I'm finally deciding to fix it.
Anyone know where they sell them?

b) just cut some 1/2" or 1/4" if you can find it plywood or fiberboard the size of the 6x9s. Make 2 per speaker. Mount the speaker to one (underneath), put the other frame on top and screw together... put a strip of weatherstripping in between to make it rock solid. The stock plastic/fabric covers will still fit just fine, and you will be good to go.... any hacking of the metal and mounting to that will make it sound terrible. Plus who needs pods, it will sound just fine... my setup involves a lot more then just swappin out the speakers, but I have never had anything but compliments.
hmm... that sounds more dificult that if I can just get a pod. Anyone else have any ideas??? I know the reason that the speakers sound a little bad is because of me hacking up that metal sheet, that's why I'm trying to find a fix for it. And I've seen sites that sell pods, but they didn't have one for my application.
2legit... it's for the rear deck, not rear doors.
