Default Liquid gasket?

My exhaust feels not so tight yet all my bolts are. It gets a rattle at the beginning and end of gears (low rev). I wonder if I cant solve that with liquid gasket.

Any advice?

yea my intake does that at low rpm's even though all the bolts are on hella tight. i just bought some self adhesive cushion padding. they come in 1/2inch x 1/2inch pieces. i put them in two spots where the intake tapped against the body of the car and it stopped tapping and rattling. i guess u can do the same but with bigger pieces of adhesive padding and stick it where ever ur exhaust rattles or comes in contact with parts of your under carriage.

Did you check your complete exhaust to make sure it's not comming into contact with anything? Check your heat shields also, and try "knocking" on the cat as well, maybe it's bad.

All my heat sheilds were off a while ago, Its not rubbing. I think I have it pin pointed to the exhaust back (where the the straight pipe turns) I can actually see carbon on the outside where they come together. It seems to have burned out the old gasket (looks like the asbestos type). Maybe I just get a metal gasket in there.

hmm... I don't think I ever even took a look at my stock exhaust, so I can't say how it was. I could hear it leaking everywhere when I bought the car, so I just changed it all. I guess you can go and find the gasket at an auto parts store. Good luck with the rusted bolts though. If anything you might have to get an exhaust shop to just cut that part out and weld in a little piece of pipe instead.
