My daughters 4 door accord has a broken passengers front door handle. You can open the door using the outside handle, but from the inside it doesn't work. The latch FEELS like it is attached, and the return spring works also.

Is this a common problem, and if so what should I look for? A coincidence may be that the doorglass was broken within a week of her noticing the door handle being inoperable.....so it may be related to the fellow fixing the window.

i might have the same problem, i think the rod (that connects the inside one to the door lock) is connected to the inside door handle and secured by this plastic piece. this plastic piece has broken on me and has allowed the rod to slip out, thus making the inside door handle inoperable.

take off the door panel and check it out...it is really easy.
