What size rims for a 98 accord 4 door.
If you're not going to drop your car then stick with stock rims. Aftermarket 16s looks like ass on a 6th gen accord. 18s gives the most balanced look on a 6th gen but will give you a 4x4 look if your car isn't lowered. I suggest getting some oem 7th gen accord rims or acura cl/tl type s rims.
Just drop it and you can get the size you really want.
If you have an I4, then you'll be limited on OEM wheels larger than 15. You can only use the 16" wheels that came on previous gen CL's. All the newer Honda/Acuras have 5 lugs, so no 17" type S wheels, TSX, etc.
I have 18, and I think they are a good balance of looks and performance.
If you aren't going to lower it, get some previous gen CL wheels or stick with 15" alloys.
Here's my previous gen CL wheels, I use them in the winter (there are about 4 or so styles out there):

ewww... 16s are for civics man. Go for 17 or 18s. Definately need a drop though. Even the Eibach Pro Kit that doesnt give such a drastic drop. Bigger rims mean lower profile tires, which means bigger spaces in your fenders, which means that shit looks nasty without it. If you're going to do something, do it right the first time.

And when you use larger wheels, if you use the right size tire it doesn't mean "bigger spaces in your fender". The overall diamater will be basically the same. The problem is the optical illusion of having more wheel gap than tire sideall. That's what gives the "lifted" look.
My car with 18s:

deja vu from that other thread, isn't it, jschmid.
personally, i'd drop it before getting rims. if you have an EX or EX V-6 sedan it will look decent without rims. 17s or more without a drop is a major mistake that you will regret.
