Default Radiator cracked, need help

my radiator is leaking fluid, after hours of research i discovered my radiator was cracked!!! anyway, its cracked but the thing is, is that some of my friends (these are the same friends who told me that shifting an auto was beneficial) said it was no biggie and to put like an epoxy or something over it.
whats your opinion on that?
And also, my mechanic said i could get an intercooler instead of another radiator, and ebay always comes through in the clucth, but i thought intercoolers only worked with turbos???

the radiator is nothing to play around with.tell your friends to epoxy their broken brains.go get it replaced, many places will give you a lifetime warranty on one.make sure its and oem one too and not aluminum because metal will corrode

i soldered the radiator on another car i had, but it was a small crack at the top. never leaked again. that's just my experience though, if you can afford to fix it the right way, definitely do so.

jb weld will do temporarily.

you need a new mechanic or need to make up stories about your mechanic. intercooler has nothing to do with radiator, it doesnt even hold radiator fluid.

Radiators on Accords are a known cheap unit, just replace the unit it's such a cheap and easy thing to do well under $200 bucks can get you a new one.

The guy who drove his Accord 1-million miles I think actually replaced 2 of them.
