Default Ticket Story

Here is my latest ticket story. I was driving to work one Saturday morning (I have about a hour commute up a canyon to get to work) at about 4:30 a.m. and I saw some one following me. I just thought it was a coworker messing with me so I didn’t pay much attention to it. But when I got to work they parked behind me and started yelling at me telling me I was in big trouble, and he clocked me at 95, still thinking it was somebody messing with me I started to walk over to there truck and he told me he was fire marshal and the Sheriff was on the way. So like a deer in the headlights I just stood there until the Sheriff showed up. I was in total disbelief that this could happen. The Sheriff showed up and asked what my hurry was and I told here that I wasn’t and she wrote me a ticket for 74 in a 65. I had court to day and the ticket was thrown out. So beware of fire marshal Bill.

Why did you listen to the fire marshall??? I would of booked it, as soon as you get out of your car the cop can't cite you, (unless your being chased)-Besides what kind of bullshit is 74 on a 65, that foo never clocked sh*t, they dropped it cause the Judge knew it was a BS ticket. And since when did they start handing out radar guns to the Fire Marshalls?

LOL, it makes perfect sense, cause you know when you get pulled over after speeding, the officer usually says, "Where's the fire buddy?" Well, maybe the officer meant it, and sent the Fire Marshall after you!

Neither the Sheriff or the Fire Man showed up to court. and i really dont think my Accord can do 95 up the canyon, maybe 80 in some spots but not 95.

Yea. I would not have stood there until the cop showed up. A fire marshall can't make you wait for anything. I would have told him to kiss your tail right on the hole, and then gone inside to work.

Naw man. You did good for staying there. If you had left the guy would have given your plates to sheriff and they might have stated that you fled because you were guilty.

This was a total BS and you won. So feel good baby....

Doubt it since the Fire Marshall " cant really pull you over "
I would of said that he thought the Fire Marshall was chasing him, since he was tailgating him etc...

Cop didnt clock you speeding. Why would he even give you a ticket?

In some states a "civilian complaint" can warrant investigation and in case of a "reputable individual" may be enough to convict you (i.e. marshall states he followed you at 80 mph and you were still getting away from him when he had to slow done in order to "comply w/ speed limit." So, in cases such as these it is good to confront the accuser (marshal) and stick to your guns.
