Default '99 Accord instrument Panel

The light behind my display for mileage and trip meter has burned out. I want to replace the light, I am having a hard time finding a way to remove the instrument panel. Can someone help? Also, I have a console with my stick shift on the floor. I would like to remove the console and clean it. Any suggestions?

Thanks

this is for a 94....

the stick shift console is a breeze to remove. All you have to do is remove the cupholder to access its bolts (just pull it out). There may be another bolt behind the ashtray on the rear of the center console. Once this is out, you can access not only the parking brake cables, but the underside of the stick shift. There are two more bolts holding the two parts of the console together down on the parting line down where the plastic meets the fabric by the side of the seats. Unscrew the shifter (just turn it counterclockwise) to enable you to remove the forward part of the console. You can then remove the junk drawer under the radio to acess the remaining bolts... just keep going, its rather intuitive once you get started... i did it this weekend in 15 minutes without refering to my Haynes (allthough its good to have one if you don't already). Sorry its a bit vague, I dont remember every little detail.

As for the instrument cluster there are two screws under the dash portion that overhangs, remove those, wiggle it loose, and you can remove the black ring. Then you'll be able to see more, it kinda comes off in layers. You'll eventually get to where you can get the cluster out.

Center console pics (autotragic, but should be similiar) attached:

as for the instrument cluster, like jschmid said, there's 2 screws on top.. once you pull that bezel out, you should be able to see all the screws you need to remove..
