The stock headlights are a quality piece compared to those aftermarket ones thats why most people do their own black housing because its cheaper than buying crappy aftermarket and the light output will be better. You should look into a retrofit headlight conversion check out www.bwimports.org and follow to lighting and check this guys work out its awesome.

I got into an accident a couple of years back and I only have the left stock light so unless I buy only the left one somewhere, I will be using the ones I have I just need to make time and find somewhere warm to pull the bumper, etc. Thanks!!

if you have enough tools then its gonna be pretty easy, i replaced my broken headlight with oem part within 30-40 minutes consider that is slow!

I got some step by step instruction but they dont say what tools I would need.. I'm assumming a socket wrench, possilbly an extension and probably a screwdriver is all I'll need... Of course besides the materials to paint the lights...
