Default 2k accord engine build-up

ok,I've got an extra engine laying around for my 2k accord and have been thinking of building it up and swaping it into my car over the winter. I can pretty much do whatever I want to it. Its the 2.3 4cyl with automatic transmission. I'm not planning to race the car and don't want something thats unreliable and needs to be fixed all the time. I want a motor for getting on and off exit ramps and passing on the highway. I would also like to improve take off. I don't want to full with turbo,Nitro,or s.charger. I'd like to do the best I can with just the motor. Any ideas or recommedations where to find hi-po parts for this engine?

Theres very few hp internals for the f23, lots of stuff has to be ordered custom. By the time your done it will bevery expensive. Turbo is the best bang for the buck, or if your really daring, some of the guys over at honda-tech put an h22a head on an f23 block. Turbo is the best way to go by far though.

bigger pistons, higher cr, and a lil bit of boost can get you about 30hp

So you want all-motor if i am correct and you have an auto?? Basic bolt ons and leave it at that. You can do the internals but it is $$$. Best bang for the buck, turbo.

I'd like to do the internals but can't find anything. I'm going to have the intake manifold ported/polished as well as the head with a 3-angle valve job done by dh racing. custom intercooled intake, header, cat. converter from a brand new chrysler with hemi engine(hi-flo)decent cat back exhaust, fuel pressure regulator and prolly some nice plugs and wires and a msd sci box. this work should improve engine hp throughout entire rpm range and still give me excellent gas milege off of 87 octane. if anybody has any links to where I can find internal, please send them, thanks.

after doing that work you are going to have to high octane in there. Y do the work and put low octane in there.
