Default First thing to do

I just got my accord like 2 weeks ago... I'm not sure whats the first thing I want to do on my accord right now, so I'm debating on either CAI or exhaust first... Just simple set ups... I've heard that the Apexi VTEC Controller is also very helpful...

Get Intake first because it will sound better. My friend got intake first and decided he didn't want exhaust because the noise from the intake was cool, but not to loud.

Do your suspension first, make it handle better. Then try h: to make it fast.

First off, the APEX'i VAFC does not do shit unless your car is decently modded...(i.e. intake, header, exhaust, plugs, ignition.) for the best results.

Out of your options, save your money and do a suspension upgrade.

plus SEARCH for more info.

Here's how you should do it:

1/. Lowering - Good springs/shocks set up (eichbach, neuspeed springs with Koni yellows, Tokicao Illumnias, etc.) or better yet GOOD full coilover system like Tokico RAK501 and Tein SS.
2/. Suspension works: Rear anti-sway bar (Suspension Techniques), Camber kit (SPC or Ingalls), Front Upper strut (neuspeed or one prefab by a HAN member), etc.
3/. Tires and wheels: 15-16 for comfort, 17-18 for looks. Get good tires for better grips
4/. Lightning = 9005 conversion (cheap route), HID, retrofitted. NO PROJECTORS unless you get TYC's. for better vision.
5/. Save your money for major engine work or swap + turbo if you want more hp; because all the addons are going to be useless, it's not that much gain nor noticable.

btw, I suggest that you search because these topics have been covered tons of time.

a small turbo with only 7lbs of boost. Anything higher on an automatic and a high mileage engine is just asking for it. Plus you should do a complete engine rebuild, replace stock internals with stronger and lighter materials, etc. You're looking at ATLEAST $5000.00 for just parts and labor.

and SEARCH.
