Honda governers are in the tranny not in the ecu. You can argue all you want to but i know for a fact that me and my boy both have h22a swaps. I have the FULL swap (h22a engine and tranny) and he only has the engine he kept his F22 tranny. We both have reprogramed ecu's and he has a VAFC II w/vtec controller. Mine will do 150 or faster all day long. His cuts off at 120 in the top of 3rd gear. the auto trannys should have about the same gearing diffrences and the manual.
double whammy. holy misinformation batman!

where do obdI h22 lsd auto trannies come from?

and your friend is topping out at 120 cuz he has a F series tranny. the gears are too short, the engine accelerates through the gears too quickly, so by the time hes at 5th gear he's only at 120mph.

1992-1996 H22A M2B4 tranny has gear ratios
3.307 1.950 1.360 1.034 0.787 and a 4.266 final drive

an f series tranny like the P2A5
3.307 1.809 1.185 0.903 0.685 - and a 4.062 final drive

your buddy is topping out at 120 cuz he has to shift earlier than you, not cuz of a governor.

You need to check your own information and quit making yourself look like a retard. IN THE USA H22A's were ONLY MANUAL. 93-96. And you OBVIOUSLY DONT KNOW GEARS. the SMALER THE NUMBER the LONGER THE GEAR. :slap: thats why when you want quicker acceleration in a camero you change the rear end gear from a 3.08 to a 4.11. because its SHORTENS the gears. You need to do YOUR OWN DAMN RESEARCH. LIKE I SAID he shifts into 4th gear right after he does his car hits 120 and CUTS OFF not tops out its still pullin like a mother fu*ker and it just CUTS OFF. Thats the same damn thing that mine did before my engine swap. We did the SAME swap. The same damn ecu and the only diffrence is he used the F22A tranny and i used the H22A tranny and HIS STILL CUTS OFF and MINE DOESNT. ARE YOU READING THE WORDS THAT ARE COMING OUT OF MY COMPUTER. IM NOT A DUMB ASS and i KNOW WHAT THE HELL IM TALKING ABOUT. :madfawk:
