Probably my stupidest question ever

Weight removal is free of cost often, so that's a viable idea. It depends on how far you want to go with it.
There are many things you could do: remove the a/c, sub box, the rear seat, and if you have them, lose the oversized diameter wheel/tire combo.
If you get more radical: remove the door panels, carpet, spare tire, passenger seat, radio, and the heater. Remove the power window units, and replace the old side windows with Lexan.
If you have the money: fiberglass racing bucket, carbon fiber body panels, lightweight aluminum wheels, and of course motor mods.
Advice: If you remove a bunch of things, find a safe place out of the way to store it all. When you sell your car someday, you'll wish you had all that stuff to bolt back on to make it marketable. Resale won't be jack on a gutted Accord.
I would agree with the others that there are other cars better suited to start with, but if you're into modding an Accord do it. The object of my Accord (eventually) is to have a sporty sedan that looks clean with no bling, handles above average, while still being comfortable to drive on long trips, and kept virgin enough to still have good resale when I trade it in for that real sports car I hope to get someday.

Can you tell me whether you had a MAF? How did you get your intake installed? I am desperate to find an air intake system for my 05 Accord 2.4L K24a4 engine.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
Best,
Anthony
dont do it. the stock intake is perfect. dont do it. anything else might sound good but you will miss your $700+ intake. the accord sounds beautiful stock and it will be safe from water. just floor the gas at 60mph and hear that

The SRI does give you better pull at higher rpm, at the expense of losing some torque under 3k. The upside is when you add a 4-2-1 header, the torque on the low end comes back just above where it was originally. So I'd have to say both bolt-ons together are preferrable to just an SRI alone.
Also with my set-up, hydrolocking is no risk (much less than with a CAI)
I remember seeing a thread where the MAF sensor is shown installed on the airbox itself on some models. Mine is not that way. There is a CAI for the MAF models, Fujita I think. Installation was very easy and straightforward on the AEM.
While we're talking about steel rims...they are not always heavier than alloys. It depends on the alloys you have.
You can make anything fast. It's how much headache you wanna put up with, and money you want to spend. There's a turbo kit for the I4 K24a4 now that lays down 300 h.p., so a fast Accord is possible if you're willing to do what it takes.
Integras or Preludes aren't race cars either, but with some work they can be made that way, just like anything else.

Ok weve all played Gran Turismo at some point. i know the whole weight modification thing works in real life. So i got a 97accord lx. i love my car but i know the thing is way too heavy, like almost 3,000lbs curb weight . heavy=slow. so i want to know how much weight could be removed from a honda accord and how much would it cost me? i want to keep the windows. i will appreciate ANY help thanks.
