Default Probably my stupidest question ever

Feel Free to laugh and make fun of me. i just gotta ask this one

Ok weve all played Gran Turismo at some point. i know the whole weight modification thing works in real life. So i got a 97accord lx. i love my car but i know the thing is way too heavy, like almost 3,000lbs curb weight . heavy=slow. so i want to know how much weight could be removed from a honda accord and how much would it cost me? i want to keep the windows. i will appreciate ANY help thanks.

ride on steelies, remove the seats, spare tire, cf hood, cf trunk, cf fenders, keep a 1/4th tank of gas at all times ...

and you'll realize, it's not worth it.

I think its a real stupid question to ask.
Why?: because accords arent race cars.

thats not the point.

i think you should take all the other door panels off, speakers and audio...the WHOLE glove box out.

ride on alloy wheels, they are lighter, or get some aftermarket rims.

You said any help so here goes. The accord is not a racecar!!! If you want to modify your car to get a little more out of it, fine. I even want to turbocharge mine, but why gut the interior and make it ugly?? Its not going to make it super fast. If your that speed obsessed sell the accord and buy a faster car like a DSM.
