Depends on your location really, in CT i see Royal Purple at PepBoys but its usually the motorcycle blend, but they should be able to order anything (I hear it does run good in bikes) But for me I run what Honda recommends 5w-30 and I use Mobil 1 with K&N oil filters, and she runs great still with 85k on the clock.

yeah i do the same thing except winter....from late nov. to mid april.....
it's just really a pain to sit in the car for 10 mins till it heats up...0w30 usually takes only less than 5 mins...

Here's the catch guys....

Honda recommends 0w-20 oil now for most our cars (with the exception of the S2000 and its bigger filter.)

So even if you say that you want a 5w-30 oil, the techs will pour in the 0w-20. Why?

"Well honestly, there is not much of a difference between the two, just that on the new service bulletin board, we require using 0w-20 OEM Honda Oil. If you look, the oil price on the 0w-20 is slightly higher. Honda probably did that to get more money." -Parts manager

I work at the dealership, so I know what's down.

Actually the 0W-20 allows Honda's CAFE MPG stats for their entire line go up a fraction, and thats the reason for the change to 0W-20. Thats a very important thing when SUVs are all the rage, and Honda/Acura is selling Pilots, MDX's, Odyssey's like hot cakes.

Amsoil isnt a generic Royal Purple. They are 2 totally different oils, and oil companies. If you really want to see how good or how long your oil can last, send off periodic samples to Blackstones labs for analysis.
