as long as it fits there has to be a way...

i'm guessing if it ever does happen you'd have to use the entire prelude drivetrain

Using the entire prelude drivetrain isn't even the word. I think you might have to also get by the immobilizer that is built into the ecu since you would want to use the ATTS tranny

actually it's not that hard to get the atts to work if you have ABS already as except for a few sensors the only thing you have to wire in is the prelude ABS computer ATTS computer and of course the ignition switch with immobilizer module ..I almost went that way until the SH motor got sold and I ended getting a SS 99 prelude motor.

"Not really know about the ATTS bullshit right. So with that being found out after I bought motor. I get ride of Atts tranny & control box, and bought a 95 JDM base model h22a tranny."

accordhybrid
"You need to change the tranny to the base model tranny taht is the only way to make SH block work"

Does it have to be the base model or can any Honda H or F series bolt up?

Does anybody build custom midshafts to make this a simple bolt up?

No it doesnt have to be from a base model tranny. You can use any of hondas H or F series tranny, it will bolt up fine.

As for custom midshaft, I dont think I know anyone that makes them. But you should be fine at any shop that builds motors they are the ones that did mine for me.

Does the H22A4 with ATTS have the same rear mount as the average H series? (Will my aftermarket motor mounts work with a 4 gen rear motor mount from a Prelude to a civic?)

Now does anybody want to buy a complete ATTS Tranny from a 2001 SH with 30,000km, it is still in the donor car.

The car itself is totaled hiting a couple of posts, but the motor still runs fine, it's located 1h 45m north west of Toronto, in Base Borden.

If any body is interested, please email me at Riverrider450ES@Hotmail.com

I was about to ask why you needed to do that because on my 98 I didn't have to do any of that...then it hit me that you are using the 2k motor

I have heard of the ATTS issue before but never seen it come across. Thanks for the post it helps just in case.

Yes it drops right in, obviously with the ATTS you will have to fabricate the half shaft mount location but other than that it is the same swap that has been done for years.

Oh and ditch that tranny...try and find a Lude owner with ATTS that needs a replacement otherwise you are going to eat the cost of that thing.
