instructions on changing the oddometer
On my old car, the odometer was broken for two years. It read 172,000k but it really has over 200,000k...
I dont think it matters though because my uncle gave me the car for free and after I ****ed it up, we sold it to a close friend.

the title i have for this car reads - 78000 ACTUAL MILES . (wierd that its a whole number )
I want to change the miles to 85k (what the previous owner told me it has on it) - before i reregister the car.
that is the whole idea.
i dont want to sell it (i just got it) cause it seems in good condition - no problems and its only going to be shopping car for my missy.
now how do you take the cluster out to do something like this ?
any web references ?

if the oddometer is wrong is cause one of the previeus owner change it fking around posibly lowering the miles be sure who u believe but this is what i found out from someone that knows about it. when ppl try to lower their miles on the car is a 50-50 of fking it up also is never perfect once is touch the numbers will never b even i mean they wont line up perfect, i know the very last number wont line up but when is touch the numbers in the middle wont line up and others, i still never seen a oddmete fk up without been touch . i hope i am wrong and something else is wrong, but a accord with less than 100k and a bad oddometer is very unlike
well all I can say is that someone got jerked with the price.
How can the odometer stop working @ 35k and now has 80k.
So for lets say 2-3 yrs the car was registered with 35k miles when the inspection got done?

i didnt buy the car by what was on the odometer ,
i bought it cause the overall condition and the price that i got it for suited my budget,
When you buy a used car you have to make some compromises , some people prefer not to and buy new .As for my budget , this is what i could afford .
