whatever you do , go for a rebuilt transmission instead of a rebuilding the transmission.. the rebuild process is so pointless and just throwing money away, go for a rebuilt transmission already assembled and usually comes with some warranty or if you like beating on your car your better of swapping to manual with a good clutch.

 

the 02s arent so bad tranny wise...i beat the shit outta mine for 108K mi already...but it's still steady as a rock...with only a slight jerk goin 1st into 2nd sometimes..
