How is your 6th generation transmission?
Mine's a manual good as ever--going to need a new clutch one day; but My sister's 2002 Gen 6 Sedan V6 runs like a champ, the tranny is perfect too so far, 80k+ mi.
She did need the EGR valve TSB replacement though.

i just had to put another rebuilt automatic tranny for my 99 accord ex 4 cyl spent about 1500 for parts and labor.. tranny had 119k when it went out. there is def something wrong with the automatics lately.

I don't know, getting 119k out of an Automatic doesn't sound unreasonable, I've had autos in the past that needed replacement every 50k.
If you want long term, the manual is the only way to go.
i have a 99 accord ex coupe with 68k on it and i am starting to have soem tranny problems. shifting in reverse i hear a loud clank after a 2-3 second hesitation (and its getting longer) and a loss of power (huge loss of power). although i must say i have beat the hell out of it.

Didn't even breakin yet.
