Mine's a manual good as ever--going to need a new clutch one day; but My sister's 2002 Gen 6 Sedan V6 runs like a champ, the tranny is perfect too so far, 80k+ mi.

She did need the EGR valve TSB replacement though.

I don't know, getting 119k out of an Automatic doesn't sound unreasonable, I've had autos in the past that needed replacement every 50k.

If you want long term, the manual is the only way to go.

98 EX-V6, tranny replaced at 65K miles, before I acquired it at 69K miles, now it only has 5K miles on it. Paperwork from prior owner stated the usual problems, lack of power, slipping, noises, etc.

i have a 99 accord ex coupe with 68k on it and i am starting to have soem tranny problems. shifting in reverse i hear a loud clank after a 2-3 second hesitation (and its getting longer) and a loss of power (huge loss of power). although i must say i have beat the hell out of it.
