Shak'n Accord
I have a 95 Accord EX w/92k miles in it. When I drive with the AC on and I'm waiting on a red light/stop my car begins to shake a lil, mostly coming from the front of the car. When I turn off the AC the shaking stops. Is this normal or is there something wron with my car?

Its normal.
Usually waht happens is when the compressor kicks in it causes the engine to dip in RPM causing that stutter effect. They say it is supposed to compensate for the extra draw on the engine but I have yet to see Honda build an AC car that does.

perhaps part of it is weakening engine mounts? The AC will make the RPM's dip, however the effect is only worsened by bad mounts. So is the case with my vehicle. how bad is the shaking?

Does it happen when you put the car in reverse too??
A slight shake is normal when the compressor kicks in, but anything more than that, and you should have the motor mounts checked.
