dudes.....I helped my friend change his motor mounts on his TL.
What a bitch it was to do.

what we did was we lifted the engine slightly and worked on the mounts that way.. front and left side needed to be changed......its a bitch when your engine is taking up the whole engine bay......

I gotta change my right engine mount. I feel the same thing on my I4 accord ( 02 ).

 

Well I got a quote from the Honda dealership to replace my motor mounts for $320. My car does need new motor mounts but not that bad, they are getting warned out. When my car shakes it shakes a lil, for like 5-8 sec's... When I put my car on reverse it does jump a lil, i feel like a click or something, and I suppose that has to do when I change the gear to reverse. So, I'll be replacing the motor mounts whenever I save enough money. I will let you guys know how it feels afterwards, hopefully that stops the shaking, atleast when my car shake's I get a free back message, lol... well not really.

 

i have same thing but after changin all belts and stuff that needs to b change at 60k or 90k. the car just stop shaking especially when ac is on, sometimes i think my car is off lol i really wasnt expecting any diff to the vibration i though it had nothing to do but i guess it work so me happy wifey no more complain lol
